Racing Back on at Pat Smith Park

The weather and tricky cross winds were part of the flavour of racing from Pat Smith Park on Saturday. For some, it was the opportunity to get road racing in their legs while others just needed to blow out the cobwebs, catch up with riders they hadn't seen for years or just check out the Saturday afternoon racing experience at Murwillumbah.

When racing was over, the stories of how it all happened or didn't happen took over in the shady retreat that's Pat Smith Park.

Club President Gary Wardrop thanked the Commissaries for making it happen and those riders who pitched in and helped out with the rider sign on and other jobs.

"Volunteers are hard to come by and every effort to help us out is much appreciated" he added

The Byron Bay Cycle Club, Gold Coast Cycling Club, Logan City Cycling Club and Murwillumbah Cycle Club riders were thanked for their support.
