Eungella Road Race Provides Another Saturday of Great Action

Great weather and perfect conditions greeted the riders for the 2nd instalment of the Eungella Road Race. Even the cows lined up along the paddock fences near the start finish area at Travis Campbell Park to catch a glimpse of the action.

Like previous Saturday road races, there was a good mix of clubs from Northern Rivers and south-east Queensland on the start line including riders from the Inverell Cycle Club.

There were outstanding performances in all grades and the results continued to highlight the emerging talent pool among junior riders and showcase the experience of the seasoned road rider.

Special thanks to our Commissaires for their efforts.

Also, its hats off to the volunteers and spectators who help make a country road race meeting a great experience.

Club President Gary Wardrop said Fortnightly road racing is a rarity in most locations but you’re always welcome at Murwillumbah."
